In keeping with the theme, we’re sharing one of our latest custom solutions designed to support recovery and function following hand trauma.
📌 The challenge:
Our patient sustained an amputation to the tips of the index finger and middle finger, leading to hypersensitivity and intolerance to cold.
🧤 Our solution:
We designed a glove with the index and middle finger components in 1mm neoprene, offering insulation and cushioning to help manage both sensitivity and temperature discomfort, combined with our TSL UPF TEX fabric for the rest of the glove. To assist with grip during daily tasks, we also applied soft leather to the palmar aspect.
